Emolfi

Emolfi is an app that lets you create GIFs with fun effects using any selfie. Using the app is as simple as taking a picture, waiting a few seconds for the process to finish, and checking whether you like the result. If not, just carry on and filter the image again.

One of the coolest things about Emolfi is that, in theory, it can read your facial expression and apply an effect accordingly. If you make an angry face you'll get a fire effect that makes you look like a demon; make a happy face and you'll suddenly be surrounded by flowers and a rainbow.

Nearly all the images generated with Emolfi are in GIF format, meaning you can save them to your device's memory or send them over any app. Some of the images you get, though, are static and for that reason come out as JPGs.

Emolfi is a really fun photography app, capable of providing results as surprising as they are fun. All it takes is one pic and a few seconds and you've got a super fun image.
